Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and you will be saved.

Acts chapter 17 teaches us that it is a very noble thing to know the scriptures well. This means that when a preacher teaches something we should compare it to what the Word of God says to make sure it’s accurate. God is not a God of contradiction and what His Word says should be the final authority. May God inspire you to search His scriptures for truth. Amen

Rest in Jesus

In Matthew chapter 11 Jesus teaches that in Him we can find rest, and that His power is strong. But, what does that mean? It, means that true peace in life comes from knowing Jesus, and that He will carry our burdens. The true meaning of life is to love and know Jesus. We can only know God the Father if we know Jesus (Matthew 11:27). I am thankful for God’s grace and mercy and that He loves me enough that He sent Jesus to die and wipe away my sins. My God grant you peace. Amen

Nothing Impossible with God

We learn from the scriptures that God has the power to do anything (Job 42:2) or as Jesus said in Luke 18:27, “…The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”. Since, we know all things are possible with Jesus then we should have confidence that God is and will continue to work in the hearts of all those that believe and trust in Him. “And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. Romans 4:21).” What is Paul telling us in Romans? He is telling us that God is faithful and also able to do what He promises. God has a plan for each one of us (Jeremiah 29:11). May God bless you, Amen.

Peace and Joy

The Bible has been given to give us peace, joy and hope. The scriptures were inspired by God and through His Word we learn about Him and can grow closer to Him. It is by faith and belief in God that we can find true meaning in life. All of us were designed by God with a plan and a purpose. God’s desire is to work in our lives and guide us. May God bless all of us. Amen.

Ro:15:4: For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Ro:15:13: Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

God Gives Salvation

We all have sinned which means we have fallen away from God (Romans 3:23). As, a result we could die in our sins and be away from God for eternity. However, the Good News is God has provided a way for us to live with Him in Heaven after death (called eternal life). This life is found through Jesus only, which died on a cross about 2,000 years ago, rose from the dead. His death satisfied the wrath of God. Through faith and belief in Jesus we are saved. I thank God for the life found in His son. Amen

The Gospel

From Corinthians 15 we learn that Christ died and rose from the dead. Paul being very humble tells us that he was not worthy to be called a follower of Christ because he used to persecute the church. But, for Him and for us we learn it is by the grace of God that we have become saved. The Gospel is the good news that Christ the Risen Lord and Savior has given us new life in Him. It tells us that “..flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God” but what does that mean? It means that in and of ourself we can do nothing to earn Heaven. Our flesh or sinful nature has separated us from God. We cannot inherit the Kingdom of God unless Christ be our Lord and Savior. If, we could have made it to Heaven without Christ then the whole point of Christ dying is minimized, but God died on the cross; Christ God in Flesh because their was no other way for our sins to be forgiven. Finally, the best part is the Bible teaches us to repent and believe. No, repentance doesn’t mean to be perfect but it does mean to admit to God we are flawed and we need a relationship with Him and we accept what He did 2,000 years ago on the cross. May, we all trust and follow Him daily. Amen

Jesus is the Way!

Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)”. The path to Heaven is found through Jesus Christ, He died for our sins and rose from the dead. This is good news that although we have been separated from God because of our sin, we are united with Him through Jesus. There, is one way and His name is Jesus. The Bible tells us “…God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 1 John 5:11”. The way to Heaven is very simple “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house” (Acts 16:31)”. We can argue whether the Christian life is hard or easy but one thing it’s simple. God laid down a perfect plan of redemption through Jesus without such none of us could go to Heaven. Before Jesus came to earth “The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30).” God, has a day planned in which he will judge the world through Jesus Christ, God has guaranteed this will happen and proved it by raising Christ from the dead (Acts 17:31 tells us so). May, God bless and guide us all. Amen

Seeking Signs

In, the Gospel of Matthew 16 people saw the Son of God who has did miracles yet they tested Him asking for Him to show a sign from Heaven. Jesus, then refuses to show them a sign but does recount when He did multiple the loafs. Without, asking for a sign Peter confesses that “Thou [Jesus] are the Christ the “Son of the Living God”. Jesus, ask all people to “take up there cross” and follow Him. Jesus tells them that He will die and rise again on the third day. Yet, Peter basically says to Jesus ‘you will not die’. It, was the will of God that Jesus die and also God’s will that He would rise from the dead. Jesus, “Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. Acts 2:24” is the Savior of Mankind. God has provided a way to be united with Him and the Only way is through Jesus Christ. “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. John 17:3.” Amen.

Spiritual Food

In John 4:31-34 the disciples reach out to Jesus to eat as He probably hadn’t eaten in days and been out praying. Jesus replies to them, “Don’t worry about me. I have eaten a meal you don’t know about. John 4:32 (TPT)” Confused the disciples begin to wonder if someone has brought Him food. They failed to understand that Jesus was talking about spiritual food and seeking God. To make it clear Jesus replies, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work. (ESV)” If, only we could all say that our nourishment comes from spiritual food given to us by God! Jesus desires for all of us to come to Him like children and depend on Him as the source for strength. True, fulfillment in life comes from knowing God, not food, no material possession can truly satisfy us like the “bread of life (John 6:35)” which is Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior who came into the world to save all of us. May, we all continue to grown in faith and trust Him. Amen.

Run the Race

1 Corinthians 9:24 teaches us that life is a race. Christians are running with Christ and should depend on Him fully. We should seek heavenly things and follow after Christ. When we trust in Christ He strengthens us and gives us the ability to do things we couldn’t do on our own. God is the greatest source of all strength and fullness and will walk with us as we trust in Him. I thank God for His love and mercy. Amen
