Matthew 8:5-13 Tells us about a general in the ancient Roman army who comes to Jesus asking for his servant to be healed. This man came full of faith to the point where he believes God could do it by Him simply asking. If, only we could all believe the same about prayer. Jesus offered to personally visit the servant to heal him but the man full of faith said to Jesus, “…just say the word, and my servant will be healed. Matthew 8:8” Though we don’t visibly see Jesus today, He is with us, hears us in prayer and wants to have a relationship with all of us (His children). The Bible tells us to come before God with confidence (Hebrews 14:16), trust in His grace and He will help us in our time of need. Sometimes, the answer to prayer is simply God helping us with our difficulties, other times it is removing them entirely. May we all continue to trust in Him and if we need Him may we find Him. Amen
He will help us in our time of need
